Openreach Stop-Sell Print

  • 120

Openreach have announced tranches to this programme with a growing number of exchanges to be upgraded to FTTP only. This means analogue services such as voice services will need to be upgraded to VoIP. These exchanges Openreach have issued a 12 month stop sell notification for existing legacy copper services (WLR/ADSL/FTTC).

Stop Sell rules:

  • Where FTTP is available, this will be the only option available.
  • Where FTTP is not available, SoGEA will be available.
  • Where FTTP is available any legacy service requiring modification/repair/transfer will need to be moved to FTTP.

The stop sell policy has been amended to allow end customers that already have an active FTTC or SOGEA service to change CP and remain on either the FTTC 40/10 or SOGEA 40/10 service. In addition, end customers that already have an active FTTC or SOGEA service will be able to bandwidth modify to a FTTC 40/10 or SOGEA 40/10 service.
